I took my wedding ring in for repair, after a month with no communication I called to see if it was ready for pickup, they said yes. When I got to the store my ring was in the exact same shape - they had forgotten to send it in. I finally picked it up a few weeks later, after a couple of days I noticed small black specks in the diamond. I went to the store again where they let me know my diamond had been switched out.. the only thing that needed repair was placing my stone back in the setting. It was very disheartening to learn I didn't have the same ring I had received from my husband. We won't be shopping with Kay any more.
I'm just going to do everyone a favor and say NO. When you have to contact customer care TWICE on 3 rings you can save the trouble.(I should have known better when during my first visit another gentlemen was going off on the general manager for incompetence) The first time they promised me a date so I set up a four star dinner only to have no ring until a week and a half later. Second time they didn't even know anything about my ring and when I tried calling again they would not answer the phone so I called customer care and they sure had no problem answering for them! I am now at the six month mark for waiting for my wedding band.(keep in mind that it was NOT a custom) If they were too refund my entire band I would consider a 2 star that's how awful these people are! If this review prevents one person from making a purchase here I know I did my community well!
