Trying to check out at this place always stinks.. I only go when I absolutely need something and I'm in the neighborhood..
Update - I spoke with the Store Manager this morning. Very gracious. I very much appreciate her response back to me.
Terrible store. Rude customer service. They have many expired items on the shelf. They always seem to be understocked and out of things. On the internet they said the pharmacy would be open but clearly no one was there after waiting in the middle of the day. I keep giving them more chances since it's so close to where I live but from now on I'll be continuously going to Wegmans. Wegmans excels in each of these areas and more.
This is your typical grocery store. They keep it fresh and clean. The noise level is lower than that of Wegmans. I shop there on a regular basis.
Had a horrible experience there Saturday evening - 9/23. Purchased steamed snow crab legs around 8pm. When I sat down to eat them, they tasted like they had been steamed in the clean product they use to clean the steamers. Took them back to the store. While I was refunded the money I paid, the manager on duty never inquired or asked how I was or to offer an apology. never asked for my name or contact information. Horrible customer service.
Very poor customer service. No one at the Customer Service desk at 12 noon to register as new customer. Waited 4 min and then asked passing cashier who ignored me if I could get a card. She took me to her register, gave me a card, and told me to register online. Store is clean, well stocked with no clutter in aisles. Lots of grab and go prepared foods that looked tasty. Cashier charged me regular price on sale sodas, so @ 12:45 pm I returned to Customer Service where no one was behind counter, again! Walked out of store with groceries and overpriced soda at 12:50. Mgr, JC Evans, needs more training.
