I have used Two Men and a Truck numerous times in the past and I'm never disappointed in their service. The movers were on time (early actually), they were professional and helpful and took great care of my belongings. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone that is looking for a mover in the future!
Schedulers were VERY accommodating. But I've moved and had movers who were careful and faster than this group. Having said that I had three men. Two were good steady workers. One seemed to be in training and the other was instructing him. The third mover...I don't know. I was moving furniture out of someone else's home into my own. While he was on the clock with my move, he moved furniture for the owner of this other home and was paid by him. He dawdled a lot. A lot. I never saw him carry anything heavy. He had trouble reading the correct address for a stop. Before the movers left my house he moved a bunk bed ladder and leaned it against a piece of art (inexpensive but special to me) and scratched paint off it. No repeat business here.
I moved a lot when I was a kid. I have memories of gruff looking men in dirty clothes moving (and sometimes losing) our valuables. This was my expectation. Imagine my surprise when a team of enthusiastic, professional and friendly folks showed up to help me on a really stressful day. The whole team was amazing. I had a complicated move and neither the lead nor the team members batted an eye. They asked polite questions and referred to me by Name. They also worked hard to make sure I didn't spend more than I have to. This whole thing was really over the top awesome. They run a great business and I'll tell everyone I know about it.
Overall just a bad experience. To save yourself time, energy, and headache please go with another company. We desperately wanted to go with another moving company but due to our last minute scheduling Two Men and a truck was the only company available. From the beginning the first quote was incorrect and was missing information and expenses that I wasn’t aware of. We were notified 3 days before the move that a travel fee was left off. They did accommadate that and removed another few. We had 4 movers show up and within 5 mins we had damages. There was a lot of confusion with what exactly was listed to take. We were told boxes would need to be purchased through them for the tvs and Mirrors to be moved and the movers showed up without supplies and told us that they aren’t needed and it is a way for them to get money for things that aren’t needed. It has been 20 days since our move and we have had zero follow up regarding the damages sustained. I have called the office several times and left messages with no return call. We were told the person who evaluates the damages was on vacation. Save yourself the headache of having to follow up when damages occur and go with another moving company. I have now called the Customer service twice and again had to leave messages.
The crew that did my move Avon, Leon, Jason were excellent, they took great care of my belongings, they were fast, friendly and helpful. The office staff Evan, and Blake were professional and helped make a stressful time much easier. I appreciate the phone calls the day before and day of to check on how things were going. Top to bottom this company provided excellent customer service, I will be moving again and plan to call Two Men And A Truck for the next move.
