Things did not improve as we moved through the food line. It appears that people who order online get better, faster, friendlier service than the customers that have been waiting patiently in line for an extended period of time.
Always has a dirty drink station. No one is ever walking around to clean tables and tend to empty containers. There are always multiple flies around the dirty tables. Chip portions have gotten smaller, and while I appreciate the organic nature of the new queso I was extremely disappointed with the cost. It is grainy and thin. Fourth bad experience in six months. I'm done.
Everyone was stressed and making mistakes. I had to call back my order a number of times. After one kid failed to make my burrito, he just gave up and asked if he could make it into a bowl instead.
Hooooly moly this place needs a manager and fast. When my wife and I went, there were not that many people in line, maybe a total of 8 or so. The same number of people behind the counter...
Great food and friendly staff. I eat at this location fairly often and they're always on top of things. Portion sizes are great and most of the time there is not a super long line (if you go before dinner time). Great food, low price and most importantly not greasy or unhealthy. My order: Burrito bowl, white rice, black beans, veggies, 1 serving of steak, 1 serving of chicken (yeah, I pay extra, haha), mild sauce, hot sauce, guac and lettuce. Keeps me full from lunch at 11am until dinner at 7pm.
It tasted a little off, the portions were definitely wrong. Usually you can't go wrong with chipotle, but this location needs some leadership.

We started driving the extra distance to this chipolte because the service was horrible at the Bowie location...
Then the food wasn't all that good this time.
Extremely disappointed with my visit to Chipotle today....and this hasn't been the first time. The last time we were here, they were under staffed but today, they seemed staffed but the line was long and slow moving. We stood in line for at least 15 minutes. When I got up to the counter to give my order for a salad bowl, the young server reached for the lettuce and it was empty. He asked me if I wanted the regular lettuce that they use for tacos and such and he seemed perturbed that I said no, I wanted salad.
We are quickly learning that service in Maryland is terrible everywhere we go so I'm not sure why I'm surprised. This is the 2nd bad experience I have had at this chipotle in a week. The first was dinner time Wednesday, and the second today for lunch. And it was the same issue. They screwed up a large to go order ahead of us and we all had to wait in line while they corrected it because they only had one register. Today I waited over 15 minutes as my food sat there and got cold. If you have an issue with an order, here are some suggestions from a customer service manager: 1) give the order away and move on, 2) OPEN ANOTHER REGISTER. To to add insult to injury, as soon as they were done with the large messed up order, they started helping people with online orders and not the people who had been waiting in line for over 15 minutes. In fact, by the time I was done in line, the people who rang out just before the order that was messed up were completely finished with their meals and leaving. Mind you they were 3 people ahead of me.
Not sure that I'll be coming back again.
